Through scholarships and remote computer science teaching, we strive to break the cycle of poverty and equip these students with the skills necessary for future success. We are dedicated to ensuring that every child can thrive and realize their full potential.

This program consists of two different projects: providing scholarships to underprivileged students and teaching computer science to interested students. So far, we have awarded 10 scholarships to students whom the school has chosen. Each scholarship is approximately 18 dollars a month. For the computer science project, we raised funds for a smartboard and have started teaching remote lessons to interested students through a partnership with 1 billion technology.

At the Badalkumbura Student Enrichment Program, we are a group of like-minded individuals working together to assist students in need and ensure that every student, no matter their background, has an equal opportunity, especially in fields like computer science, which can be hard to get into without the funds to purchase equipment on one’s own.
